IDR is seeking a Sr Data Governance & Data Management Lead — Asset/Wealth Management to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Malvern, PA. In this role, you will lead enterprise-wide data governance and data management initiatives within the asset/wealth management space, helping drive data quality, consistency, security, and accountability. This is an opportunity to partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to build scalable governance frameworks that support trusted, compliant, and well-managed data assets.

Position Overview for the Sr Data Governance & Data Management Lead — Asset/Wealth Management:

  • Lead and mature enterprise data governance and data management standards, policies, processes, and controls to strengthen data quality and accountability.
  • Drive process analysis and redesign to improve data workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and enable scalable governed data operations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end data management lifecycle, including sourcing, integration, consumption, metadata management, and stewardship.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, architects, data engineers, and analytics teams to translate financial domain needs into governed data solutions.
  • Establish and maintain governance practices across key financial subject areas such as securities, holdings, portfolio performance, and risk analytics.

Requirements for the Sr Data Governance & Data Management Lead — Asset/Wealth Management:

  • 8+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or enterprise data management
  • Experience within investment management, asset management, wealth management, or financial services environments
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data governance frameworks, data lifecycle management, and best practices (lineage, metadata, dictionaries, stewardship, data quality)
  • Hands-on experience with modern data environments, including Snowflake, SQL Server, AWS, and Azure
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead and influence enterprise governance initiatives
