IDR is seeking a Technical Support Engineer – Integrations to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Santa Clara, California. This role involves providing technical support for complex electro/mechanical equipment, software, and networked systems within a technology-driven environment. The company is a leader in innovating integrated solutions across various technical domains, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused culture.
Position Overview for the Technical Support Engineer – Integrations:
- Provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electronic and software systems.
- Respond to situations where first-line support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
- Report design, reliability, and maintenance issues to engineering teams for resolution.
- Analyze technical data to identify potential causes of issues and involve relevant teams to resolve complex problems.
- Develop an understanding of the company platform, cloud technologies, and troubleshooting practices to ensure successful issue resolution.
Requirements for the Technical Support Engineer – Integrations:
- Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory, SSO, or other authentication/user management systems
- Understanding of Email troubleshooting (e.g., Office 365, Exchange)
- Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, REST)
- Working knowledge of network troubleshooting (e.g., Ping, Telnet)
- Hands-on experience with bi-directional integrations between systems and scripting languages such as JavaScript
