IDR is seeking a UAT Business SME Tester to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Jackson, MS. This role will be onsite in Jackson 5 days per week or heavy travel is required. This role involves supporting large-scale modernization efforts within the state’s human services programs. The position offers a chance to work on impactful projects that improve eligibility and case management systems for government operations.
Position Overview for the UAT Business SME Tester:
- Support user acceptance testing for a large eligibility and case management modernization project.
- Validate system functionalities such as eligibility determinations, case actions, notices, and outcomes.
- Provide direct feedback on system usability and functionality based on real operational workflows.
- Collaborate with UAT leadership and system integrator teams to clarify business impacts.
- Support compliance and audit-focused testing activities to ensure system adherence to regulations.
Requirements for the UAT Business SME Tester:
- Direct experience with SNAP, TANF, Child Support, Child Care, or similar programs.
- Background as an eligibility worker, supervisor, policy analyst, or state contractor.
- Prior involvement in UAT or system testing (formal or informal).
- Comfort working in test environments and documenting results.
- Willingness to work onsite or hybrid during active UAT cycles.
