IDR is seeking a Finance Solutions Designer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in finance operations, business analysis, and enterprise solution design, particularly within financial planning systems. The position offers the chance to work at the intersection of finance and digital teams to develop scalable solutions that enhance forecasting, budgeting, and workforce planning processes.
Position Overview for the Finance Solutions Designer:
- Collaborate closely with finance, FP&A, workforce planning, and digital teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional system designs.
- Create detailed documentation, workflows, and mockups to describe system operations supporting finance and operational processes.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery process, including testing, deployment, user enablement, and post-implementation support.
- Design solutions that simplify complex finance workflows, enhancing user usability and experience.
- Ensure all solutions align with compliance, operational, and financial guidelines while supporting scalability and future growth.
Requirements for the Finance Solutions Designer:
- Requirement 1: Strong experience in requirements gathering and functional documentation, such as user stories, functional specs, and process flows.
- Requirement 2: Deep expertise in finance systems, including FP&A, workforce planning, budgeting, and forecasting tools.
- Requirement 3: Proven skills in solution and process design, including creating business workflows, system interactions, and mockups.
- Requirement 4: Experience in user acceptance testing, including developing test scripts, validation, and quality assurance.
- Requirement 5: Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, including finance, digital, product, and technical stakeholders.
