IDR is seeking a Data Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. This role involves supporting a high-profile enterprise transformation initiative with a focus on data modeling, pipeline development, and system testing. The position offers the chance to work remotely and collaborate with global stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
Position Overview for the Data Engineer:
- Support the final phases of a large enterprise data transformation project, ensuring readiness for system integration and testing.
- Design and develop data models across bronze, silver, and gold layers using Databricks.
- Build and optimize data transformation pipelines utilizing PySpark, SQL, and Python.
- Implement batch and streaming data ingestion patterns following best practices.
- Collaborate closely with global stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure data solutions are production-ready.
Requirements for the Data Engineer:
- 5+ years of data engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Python).
- Proven experience building dimensional models and star schemas.
- Deep understanding of Delta Lake concepts and optimization.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
