IDR is seeking a Senior Voice Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Macon, GA. This role involves supporting and maintaining enterprise telecommunications infrastructure within a healthcare environment. The company specializes in health services, providing innovative communication solutions to facilitate seamless patient and staff interactions.
Position Overview for the Senior Voice Engineer:
- Responsible for supporting the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Cisco Unified Collaboration systems including Cisco Call Manager and Unity voicemail.
- Conduct capacity planning, system testing, and troubleshooting of VoIP, video conferencing, and related systems.
- Assist with telecom infrastructure administration and provide technical support for enterprise communication initiatives.
- Ensure system redundancy, backups, disaster recovery, and system upgrades are properly executed.
- Collaborate with on-site teams at multiple Atlanta hospital locations for daily operations and system support.
Requirements for the Senior Voice Engineer:
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience with Cisco Call Manager and associated voice/video equipment.
- Proven experience in implementing, configuring, and maintaining telecommunications infrastructure.
- Knowledge of VoIP systems, video conferencing, and related software.
- Ability to work on-site at two main Atlanta locations, Monday through Friday.
- Strong troubleshooting and capacity planning skills in a healthcare environment.
