Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Admissions Specialist:
– Provide Contact Center-based support via phone, email, fax, and web to facilitate placement requests for patients choosing our client's dialysis services
– Utilize tools and resources associated with our client's Guest Services to facilitate patient placement
– Contribute to the knowledge databases of our client's Guest Services
– Adhere to and contribute process improvement ideas to the team
– Build and establish strong relationships with hospitals through excellent service delivery
Required Skills for Admissions Specialist:
– Ability and willingness to learn required programs
– Excellent time management and prioritization skills
– Ability to provide excellent customer service and build rapport with clients and teammates
– Excellent customer relationship and inter-company network building skills
– Ability to empathize with patients, their family members, caregivers, customers, and teammates under stressful circumstances while remaining focused on business goals
– Attention to detail and relentless follow-through
– Receptiveness to constructive feedback and development
