Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Technical Product Owner:
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical dependencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategic roadmaps into actionable engineering tasks.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives, to drive successful project execution.
- Author detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity for development and QA teams.
- Partner with software engineers to ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with architectural standards.
Required Skills for Technical Product Owner:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of experience in Agile software development environments, with a focus on software engineering or technical product ownership.
- Strong understanding of software architectures, APIs, databases, and system integrations.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing product backlogs and Agile delivery using tools like JIRA.
