Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Commercial Data Analyst:
– Develop accurate reports to measure the success of business initiatives
– Create statistical tools for analysis to enhance business efforts
– Gather and utilize internal and retail data for comprehensive analysis
– Perform retail analysis to support advertising and program spending
– Manage data for reporting and distribution to appropriate stakeholders
– This is a 3-month contract with potential for extensions
Required Skills for Commercial Data Analyst:
– Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
– Superior knowledge of digital account providers and digital music/entertainment business
– High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
– Experience with relational database reporting tools, SQL & Google Big Query
– Python and/or experience with APIs and data scraping technologies is a plus
– Strong ability to analyze data, identify issues and generate solutions
– Eagerness to learn and understand the business models revolutionizing digital and subscription-based media
