IDR is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting secure full-stack web applications and portals used by internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is passionate about modern engineering practices, building reliable APIs and UI experiences, and delivering solutions in a regulated environment.
Position Overview for the Full Stack Developer:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack web applications with secure, scalable architectures
- Build and maintain modern user interfaces and backend services/APIs with strong attention to performance and reliability
- Implement authentication/authorization and role-based access controls for enterprise portal use cases
- Integrate with cloud services, enterprise APIs, and data platforms to support reporting and analytics needs
- Partner with stakeholders to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and improve existing systems through automation and modernization
Requirements for the Full Stack Developer:
- Strong full-stack web application development experience across UI, APIs, security, and production support
- Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript for modern frontend development
- Backend development experience with Python and FastAPI (or comparable modern API frameworks)
- Experience implementing secure authentication/authorization patterns (e.g., OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML) and secure coding practices
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and delivery practices (e.g., Terraform, CI/CD, Git/GitHub, automated testing, monitoring/logging); containerization experience (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus
