IDR is seeking a Consulting Network Architect to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is focused on delivering high-impact, client-facing collaboration and network engineering solutions across multiple projects. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to design, implement, and support modern Cisco collaboration platforms in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Position Overview for the Consulting Network Architect:
- Serve as a senior-level consulting engineer/architect delivering Cisco collaboration solutions (with an emphasis on WebEx Calling)
- Lead discovery, design, implementation, and optimization efforts for client environments across multiple concurrent projects
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and clear communication to both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Support cutovers/migrations and troubleshoot complex issues, including occasional after-hours work as needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally while maintaining strong ownership, prioritization, and customer service in a consulting delivery model
Requirements for the Consulting Network Architect:
- Senior, hands-on engineering/architecture experience within the Cisco ecosystem (collaboration and/or networking)
- Strong hands-on experience with WebEx Calling (WebEx Contact Center experience is a plus)
- Proven ability to communicate and document technical solutions for client audiences (presenting/whiteboarding a plus)
- Comfort working in a client-facing consulting environment with independent problem-solving and delivery accountability
- Ability to support occasional after-hours cutovers/migrations and participate in project-related travel as needed
