Position Overview for the GIS Analyst:
This position will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of spatial data, and delivering advanced geospatial analytics that support strategic planning, infrastructure management, and operational decision-making. This position combines GIS data stewardship with advanced spatial analysis, automation, dashboard development, and data visualization to improve business processes across Storm water management and operations.Key Responsibilities:
- 5+ years of experience working with GIS data management
- 3+ years’ experience with QA/QC responsibilities (QA/QC, finding data gaps, data comparison and data design and data engineering)
- 3+ years of experience with Arc GIS Online – creating web maps and apps
- Strong understanding of spatial data formats (e.g., REST, shapefiles, geoJSON, KML).
