IDR is seeking a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager – IT & Professional Services to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Englewood, CO. In this role, you’ll lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives across IT and professional services, driving high-impact commercial negotiations and long-term supplier partnerships. You’ll work within a fast-paced, enterprise environment to optimize spend, reduce vendor complexity, and strengthen governance across contracting and procurement processes.
Position Overview for the Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager – IT & Professional Services:
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing strategies across IT and professional services categories, from market analysis through contract execution
- Drive complex commercial negotiations with major technology and services suppliers to secure competitive, multi-year agreements
- Manage and streamline supplier footprint consolidation to improve performance, reduce risk, and optimize overall category spend
- Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Finance, IT leaders) to align sourcing outcomes with business objectives and compliance needs
- Oversee highly automated procurement workflows by guiding and validating outputs from digital tools and workflow agents in contract and procurement platforms
Requirements for the Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager – IT & Professional Services:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- 8+ years of strategic sourcing and commercial negotiation experience within a high-volume enterprise environment
- Proven experience sourcing within IT and professional services categories (including vendor selection, negotiations, and supplier governance)
- Hands-on experience with contract lifecycle management or procurement workflow tools (e.g., ServiceNow, LEAH CLM, SimplifyVMS, ContractPodAI or similar platforms)
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, including experience leading competitive RFx events and performing price variance and rate card analysis
