IDR is seeking a Patient Access Associate III to join one of our top clients for an onsite opportunity in Falls Church, VA. This role involves supporting high-volume patient scheduling for Maternal Fetal Medicine across multiple locations. The organization is a leading provider in the healthcare industry, focused on high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
Position Overview for the Patient Access Associate III:
- Support the scheduling and coordination of patient appointments across four locations for high-risk pregnancy patients.
- Manage complex appointment workflows, including physician consults, ultrasounds, nurse visits, and genetic counseling.
- Handle high call volumes in a busy call center environment, ensuring timely and accurate patient scheduling.
- Process incoming faxes and referral documentation while maintaining accurate updates in Epic.
- Assist with administrative functions related to patient information and scheduling to support clinical operations.
Requirements for the Patient Access Associate III:
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare scheduling experience.
- Epic experience is required and considered non-negotiable.
- Experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare call center environment.
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal training.
