IDR is seeking a Data Steward to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Detroit, MI. This role involves working closely with data owners to ensure data quality, governance, and management throughout the data lifecycle within an automotive industry setting. The position offers a chance to contribute to maintaining reliable data standards and supporting governance initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Position Overview for the Data Steward:
- Partner with Data Owners to understand data requirements and support data stewardship activities.
- Develop, review, and maintain data quality rules.
- Identify data quality issues and coordinate with stakeholders for resolution.
- Support data management and governance across the entire data lifecycle.
- Document data rules, definitions, and processes to promote consistent data use.
Requirements for the Data Steward:
- Experience partnering with Data Owners to maintain reliable, well-managed data.
- Experience defining and maintaining data quality rules and addressing data issues.
- Understanding of the end-to-end data lifecycle.
- Experience supporting governance processes and standards.
- Proficiency with Databricks SQL or PL/SQL.
