IDR is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role supports our client’s financial operations during their ERP implementation and involves processing and reconciling accounts with a focus on investments and treasury activities. The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major organizational transition while developing your accounting expertise. hybrid onsite in salt lake city, UT
Position Overview for the Accounting Analyst:
- Provides critical support for the organization’s financial operations during a major system implementation.
- Assists with treasury and investment accounting activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepares journal entries, reconciles accounts, and manages invoicing and AP/AR processes.
- Presents data clearly to stakeholders and recommends process improvements in workflows.
- Works independently in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines.
Requirements for the Accounting Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related business field.
- Experience working with grants, research projects, and clinical trials.
- Proficiency in AP and AR processes, invoicing, journal entries, and reconciliation.
- Solid understanding of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles, especially related to investments.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
