Position Overview for the Asset Management  Technician:
The contractor will work as an assistant to the ITAM Business Planner on hardware asset management, mainly supporting the citywide computer refresh program. Day to day, they will keep asset records accurate and current, track equipment inventory, and help with reporting and general admin work.
 

Required Skills for the Asset Management  Technician:

• 2 + years of experience in IT asset management, inventory control, and IT Support 
• Experience with Asset Panda or similar asset management tool
• Experience with IT service management systems or ticketing system
• Experience working with a Hardware refresh program 
• Experience in a local government or public sector setting
