IDR is seeking a Technical Product Owner. The role supports a ServiceNow development team operating in a Scaled Agile environment, primarily functioning remotely from Eagan, Minnesota. This position involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating needs into user stories and backlog items, facilitating communication between business and technical teams, supporting Agile ceremonies, and managing dependencies within the SAFe framework. The role combines hands-on work with stakeholder engagement and requires a strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and Agile methodologies.
Position Overview for the Technical Product Owner:
- Partner with business stakeholders, product management, and development teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and successful delivery.
- Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Help prioritize work and manage competing stakeholder needs.
Requirements for the Technical Product Owner:
- 3+ years of relevant technical experience or 7+ years of relevant technical experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, engineering, technology, or healthcare.
- Certification in Scrum Product Owner within 1 year.
- Strong Business Analyst experience supporting Agile software development teams.
- Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and ServiceNow development lifecycle.
- Ability to write and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation.
