IDR is seeking a Sr. Azure DBA/Fabric Engineer to join one of our top clients for Atlanta, GA. This role involves working within a dynamic technology environment focused on database administration and Microsoft Fabric solutions. You will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and enhance your expertise with industry-leading tools and technologies.

Position Overview for the Sr. Azure DBA/Fabric Engineer:

Responsible for managing and optimizing Azure SQL and SQL Server environments, ensuring high performance, availability, and disaster recovery.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including supporting and administrating different Fabric components such as workspaces, capacities, lakehouses, and pipelines.
Troubleshoot performance issues, implement backups, and perform routine maintenance to support enterprise-scale database solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Fabric environment configurations and operational needs.
Engage in a hybrid work environment, supporting a variety of cloud and on-premises resources.

Requirements for the Sr. Azure DBA/Fabric Engineer:

Senior-level experience with Azure SQL and SQL Server database administration.
Strong understanding of performance tuning, troubleshooting, backups, and recovery strategies.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, supporting components like workspaces, capacities, lakehouses, pipelines, notebooks, and semantic models.
Proven ability to support and administer Fabric environments effectively.
Demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving production performance issues, with a detailed understanding of HA/DR approaches.
