IDR is seeking a Network Engineer. The role is based onsite at 195 South Broadway, Rochester, MN, and involves working with telecom/network concepts, the 7-layer OSI model, and network management tools. This position combines hands-on technical work with the ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
Position Overview for the Network Engineer:
- Apply expert knowledge of telecom/network concepts and the 7-layer OSI model to support network infrastructure.
- Utilize basic telecom/network management and monitoring tools to ensure network performance.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to resolve network issues and implement improvements.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with minimum direction while maintaining high-quality results.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently, maintaining excellent organizational and time management skills.
Requirements for the Network Engineer:
- 2+ years of professional technical work experience in network engineering.
- Expert knowledge of telecom/network concepts and the 7-layer OSI model.
- Knowledge of basic telecom/network management and monitoring tools.
- Basic understanding of desktop and server operating systems is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team, with excellent communication skills.

Compensation Range: $65 – $68/hour
