IDR is seeking a IBM API Connect Lead to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Lansing, MI.
This role involves leading the design, development, and support of enterprise API solutions within a hybrid environment. The position offers an exciting chance to work on scalable and secure API architecture in a healthcare-related organization.
Position Overview for the IBM API Connect Lead:
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise API and integration solutions.
- Drive the end-to-end API lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design through deployment and support.
- Design and build scalable, secure, reusable REST and SOAP APIs/services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues and improve platform performance.
- Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise standards, security protocols, and industry best practices.
Requirements for the IBM API Connect Lead:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration and/or API development.
- 5+ years of hands-on IBM API Connect (APIC) experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with REST and SOAP web services.
- Strong understanding of API security, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and TLS.
- Experience with JSON, XML, and XSLT.
