IDR is seeking a Batch Operator to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity.
This role involves monitoring automated overnight batch processing across multiple project environments supporting regions in Massachusetts and Vermont. The position is focused on operational oversight, issue identification, and escalation, ensuring smooth and successful batch executions during overnight hours.
Position Overview for the Batch Operator:
- Monitor scheduled overnight batch activity across the Massachusetts and Vermont environments.
- Confirm whether automated batch executions completed successfully.
- Identify failed, delayed, or still-running processes requiring attention.
- Perform an initial operational review and consolidate status by system, batch, and exception.
- Follow established escalation matrices and contact the appropriate internal support team.
Requirements for the Batch Operator:
- Hands-on batch monitoring or batch operations experience.
- Understanding of batch flows, processing sequences, dependencies, and execution statuses.
- Production operations or operations and maintenance experience.
- Incident management experience, including triage and escalation.
- Ability to work independently during overnight processing windows.
