IDR is seeking a Workstation Technician. The role is based in Jacksonville, FL, at 4500 San Pablo Road. This is a 6-month contract position that involves performing break/fix operations, PC and printer refresh, and troubleshooting within a hospital environment. The position combines hands-on technical work with collaboration to ensure timely support for hardware and software issues, using tools such as ServiceNow, and requires excellent communication skills.
Position Overview for the Workstation Technician:
- Perform break/fix operations, including troubleshooting technical issues related to computers and printers.
- Conduct PC and printer refresh procedures, supporting hardware updates and replacements.
- Support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for hospital-based systems.
- Assist with configuration and installation of operating systems and software applications.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with hospital staff regarding technical support.
Requirements for the Workstation Technician:
- Associates degree in Computers, Technology, Electronics, or related field, or two years of Technical School training in the same areas.
- 2+ years of customer service experience supporting computers.
- Knowledge of Operating Systems, configuration, hardware setup, and software installation.
- 2+ years of experience in PC and printer refresh, with basic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and distinguish colors.
