IDR is seeking a Linux System Administrator to join one of our top clients in Atlanta, GA. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Linux System Administrator:
- Administer and maintain Linux systems within an HPC environment, focusing on educational support for undergraduate students.
- Manage and support Open OnDemand, ensuring seamless access to computing resources.
- Utilize Bash/shell scripting for system administration tasks and automation.
- Collaborate with our client's team to troubleshoot and maintain reliable HPC services.
- Support workload management technologies like Slurm, enhancing user experience.
Required Skills for Linux System Administrator:
- Proven experience in Linux Systems Administration.
- Expertise in Open OnDemand and strong Bash/shell scripting skills.
- Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Ability to thrive in an HPC or research computing environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
