IDR is seeking a Rack Build Quality Control Lead  to join one of our top clients in Saline, MI. This pivotal role involves overseeing operations within the Service Center, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, and managing activities both on-site and at customer locations. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Rack Build Quality Control Lead :

  • Lead and manage all aspects of service center operations, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and project scopes.
  • Oversee inventory operations, including receiving, put away, picking, and shipping, while maintaining inventory integrity using HCAP systems.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the service center team, ensuring operational excellence and customer-focused service.
  • Offer continuous feedback on process improvements, warehouse layout optimization, and operational enhancements.
  • Travel frequently to customer sites and other service center locations as required.

Required Skills for the Rack Build Quality Control Lead :

  • High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or inventory control certifications are preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or logistics operations.
  • Proven leadership experience in service center operations, with a strong understanding of inventory systems and audit requirements.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS); experience with HCAP is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate independently and lead teams across dynamic, multi-location environments.
