IDR is seeking a SAP IS-U Device Management Test Lead to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves leading testing strategies for utility system implementations, focusing on SAP IS-U Device Management, integration testing, and data validation within a large-scale transformation project.
Position Overview for the SAP IS-U Device Management Test Lead:
- Lead testing strategy and execution for SAP IS-U Device Management.
- Develop test scenarios covering device installation, removal, replacement, meter reads, and interval data.
- Test end-to-end integrations between Itron AMI/IEE and SAP IS-U.
- Manage defect identification, triage, tracking, and resolution.
- Validate converted device, register, installation, and meter-reading data.
- Partner with functional teams, vendors, developers, and business users through UAT and go-live.
Requirements for the SAP IS-U Device Management Test Lead:
- 5+ years of SAP IS-U experience with hands-on Device Management expertise.
- Experience leading testing for a utility system implementation or upgrade through go-live.
- Strong understanding of AMI, meter data management, device installation/removal, meter reads, and interval data.
- Hands-on experience with test planning, execution, defect management, and data validation.
- Knowledge of testing integrations between SAP IS-U and AMI/MDMS platforms; Itron Head-End, Temetra, or IEE experience highly preferred.
