IDR is seeking a Tier 1 Network Engineer to join one of our top clients in Brentwood, TN. This role involves supporting network systems including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points within a technology-focused environment. Position Overview for the Tier 1 Network Engineer:

Assists in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Monitors network performance and troubleshoots issues to ensure optimal connectivity and minimal downtime.
Performs routine network configuration and updates in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.
Ensures all network hardware and software components are regularly updated and maintained.
Collaborates with Level II and III engineers and IT teams to support network projects and initiatives, maintaining detailed documentation.

Requirements for the Tier 1 Network Engineer:

Experience with Cisco networking equipment.
Knowledge of switches and routers.
Familiarity with configuring VLANs and managing device setups.
Experience with security cameras, CCTV, or related surveillance systems.
Eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
