IDR is seeking a Production Scheduling & Inventory Control Planner to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Conyers, GA. This role is vital within a manufacturing environment, serving as the central point for coordinating production schedules, inventory accuracy, and cross-functional communication to ensure seamless operations.

Position Overview for the Production Scheduling & Inventory Control Planner:

• Owns and manages the rolling production schedule, coordinating between departments to ensure timely material availability and work order accuracy.
• Drives inventory controls through cycle counting, variance analysis, and visibility into shortages, excesses, or obsolete stock.
• Collaborates with Customer Service, Procurement, Engineering, Production, Shipping, and Operations to optimize production flow.
• Maintains real-time schedule adjustments based on capacity, material constraints, and production needs.
• Tracks material availability and ensures ERP/MRP data integrity to support manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements for the Production Scheduling & Inventory Control Planner:

• 3–5+ years of production planning/scheduling and inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Excel skills including analysis, reporting, pivots, XLOOKUP, Power Query, and dashboards.
• ERP/MRP experience managing work orders, scheduling dates, and inventory transactions.
• Proven ability to own and adjust a rolling production schedule with real-time updates.
• Experience with cycle counting and variance follow-up to maintain inventory accuracy.
