IDR is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Houston, TX. This role is focused on managing full-cycle recruitment processes within a dynamic, corporate environment, supporting both corporate and business teams with a strategic approach to talent sourcing and candidate experience.
Position Overview for the Talent Acquisition Specialist:
- Partner with leaders and hiring managers to forecast short- and long-term hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies.
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing plans to attract diverse, high-quality candidates.
- Screen and interview candidates, assessing technical skills and cultural fit.
- Collaborate with onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of recruitment activities to ensure audit readiness.
Requirements for the Talent Acquisition Specialist:
- High School Diploma and 4 years of talent acquisition experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of corporate or agency talent acquisition experience.
- Extensive experience developing and executing sourcing/recruitment plans.
- Knowledge of Boolean search strings, resume sourcing, data mining, and internet research.
- Experience navigating an Applicant Tracking System and managing multiple requisitions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to travel as needed (up to 20%).
