IDR is seeking a Cash Receipts Specialist to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves handling cash posting and supporting accounts receivable functions within a professional office environment. Position Overview for the Cash Receipts Specialist:
- Responsible for processing cash receipts, including ACH and credit card transactions.
- Support the cash posting function and assist with general accounts receivable activities.
- Utilize Excel, including V-lookup functions, for data management and reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely posting of transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless cash management processes.
Requirements for the Cash Receipts Specialist:
- Cash posting experience with ACH, credit cards, or similar transactions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with SAP and CRM systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional courses in mathematics, business, computers, or accounting preferred.
- 1-2 years of related accounts receivable experience strongly preferred; Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline may substitute.
- Must have good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
