IDR is seeking a AV Technical Documentation Coordinator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in New York, NY. This role is part of a major AV engineering and technology project supporting a high-profile corporate environment. The position involves coordinating technical documentation for AV systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness for engineering, operational, and security purposes.
Position Overview for the AV Technical Documentation Coordinator:
- Create, organize, and validate technical documentation related to AV engineering projects.
- Review Jira stories and support documentation associated with AV security assessments and threat models.
- Develop methods of procedure, test plans, and product documentation for new AV technologies.
- Capture technical information from engineers and convert it into clear, usable documentation.
- Partner with project stakeholders across engineering, security, and management teams to ensure documentation standards are met.
Requirements for the AV Technical Documentation Coordinator:
- Approximately three to five years of AV-focused project coordination, technical documentation, or similar experience.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear and accurate technical content.
- Working knowledge of AV systems, terminology, devices, and engineering workflows.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to understand technical discussions and identify missing or incomplete evidence.
