IDR is seeking an IPTV Design Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in New York City. This role involves the design and engineering of IPTV solutions supporting complex AV and event environments, focusing on scalable, supportable digital networks for high-profile spaces.
Position Overview for the IPTV Design Engineer:
- The IPTV Design Engineer will provide dedicated IPTV expertise for the unique requirements of the project location.
- This individual will represent the program’s IPTV design and functional requirements while working alongside the existing corporate IPTV engineer.
- The role will help ensure the IPTV solution aligns with the broader organizational IPTV architecture.
- Responsibilities include participating in design reviews, technology evaluations, testing, documentation, and planning.
- Coordinate dependencies with AV, network, security, and deployment teams to ensure effective operations post-deployment.
Requirements for the IPTV Design Engineer:
- Deep, specialized IPTV engineering and design experience.
- Experience designing IPTV solutions for enterprise, broadcast, event, or other complex environments.
- Knowledge of IPTV architecture, distribution, endpoints, content delivery, monitoring, and operational support.
- Experience coordinating IPTV requirements with AV-over-IP networks and enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong documentation and cross-functional communication skills.
