IDR is seeking a Inventory Functional Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves supporting a significant ERP transformation project within the logistics and operations industry. The individual will be instrumental in ensuring the successful implementation of the Workday ERP system, specifically focusing on inventory modules and business process optimizations.
Position Overview for the Inventory Functional Business Analyst:
- The Functional Business Analyst (BA) will serve as a key member of the ERP transformation team, supporting business process design, system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
- This role requires partnering closely with business stakeholders, functional leads, system integrators, and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of Workday business processes and related integrations.
- The candidate must possess a strong understanding of inventory business operations, ERP implementations, requirements gathering, testing coordination, data conversion, and organizational change activities.
Requirements for the Inventory Functional Business Analyst:
- Experience supporting ERP implementation projects through the full project lifecycle and strong knowledge of Workday inventory module and configuration.
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Experience coordinating testing and managing defect resolution.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of cutover planning, production support, and hypercare processes.
