IDR is seeking a SOC Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Monterrey, Mexico. This role involves monitoring and analyzing security threats within a 24/7 global SOC environment, supporting incident response, and collaborating with international teams to ensure security posture integrity.
Position Overview for the SOC Analyst:
- The SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, investigating suspicious activity, and responding to security incidents.
- They will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires clear communication and teamwork, often liaising with global security teams.

Requirements for the SOC Analyst :
- 0-2 years of experience in cybersecurity monitoring or alert triage.
- Foundational networking knowledge, including IP addresses, routing, and traffic analysis.
- Strong spoken English skills for quick and effective communication.
- Ability to write clear, concise incident notes and document investigations.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk or other security monitoring platforms.
