IDR is seeking a Facilities Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Chantilly, VA.
This role involves overseeing the operation and maintenance of a data center facility, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and IT systems are functioning optimally to support business continuity. The Facilities Manager will manage site personnel, coordinate repairs and upgrades, and ensure compliance with safety and efficiency standards.
Position Overview for the Facilities Manager:
- Provide site oversight, maintenance support, and management for the Data Center and campus.
- Supervise and coordinate data center support technicians, building engineers, and contractors.
- Maintain all mechanical, electrical, and IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operation.
- Review and process all financial activities related to the facility.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
Requirements for the Facilities Manager:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Data Center environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and building automation systems.
- Experience with facility management, system implementation, and operational oversight.
- Excellent team management, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Ability to make decisions aligned with procedures and company policies to meet deadlines.
