IDR is seeking a Power BI Analyst. The role is remote, supporting our client from Eagan, Minnesota, on a 12-month contract basis with the potential to extend. The position involves developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, utilizing Power Platform and Azure Dev Ops, and working with Tableau, Crystal, and SQL Server Reporting Services. It combines hands-on technical work with collaboration across teams, providing opportunities for mentorship and technical guidance.
Position Overview for the Power BI Analyst:
- Develop and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to meet client requirements.
- Utilize Power Platform/Workspace/Power BI expertise to enhance reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Integrate data from SQL Server, Tableau, Crystal Reports, and other sources.
- Work with Azure Dev Ops for version control and deployment of reports and dashboards.
Requirements for the Power BI Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience, including one (1) year demonstrated technical experience, or an Associate’s degree and seven (7) years of experience, including one (1) year demonstrated technical experience.
- Power Platform/Workspace/Power BI expert with extensive experience.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops.
- Experience with Tableau, Crystal Reports, and SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Familiarity with Epic analytical tools such as Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, Cogito, and Slicer Dicer is preferred.
