IDR is seeking a QA Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Mercer Island, Washington. This role offers an exciting chance to work within a dynamic team focused on gaming development, ensuring the quality and reliability of innovative software products. The position involves collaborating closely with engineers, producers, and project managers to enhance testing processes and deliver high-quality experiences for users.
Position Overview for the QA Engineer:
- Own and evolve the QA processes for your team, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
- Collaborate with software engineers, producers, and project managers to deliver tools that improve efficiency.
- Conduct technical analysis to diagnose crashes and defects, performing root cause analysis.
- Work closely with cross-team QA professionals to share knowledge and align on best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new strategies to enhance quality and delivery.
Requirements for the QA Engineer:
- Experience designing and executing test plans.
- Experience managing components of a defect database.
- Experience tasking remote testers and providing feedback on effectiveness.
- Experience working embedded with developers and content creators.
- Experience creating custom reports on test coverage and defect data.
