IDR is seeking a UKG Configuration Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and configuration lead, helping optimize a UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions) environment and build scalable processes for long-term growth. This position supports a large, operationally complex organization in an industrial-focused industry by aligning workforce management configuration to HR, Payroll, and Operations needs.
Position Overview for the UKG Configuration Specialist:
- Assess the current UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions) configuration across timekeeping, attendance, accruals, and scheduling
- Partner directly with HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations stakeholders to gather requirements and uncover configuration gaps
- Lead configuration corrections in lower environments, ensuring changes are thoroughly validated before business UAT
- Design and execute end-to-end test scenarios to confirm configuration changes work as intended
- Provide hands-on coaching and guidance to internal teams on configuration approach, testing methodology, and sustainable process improvements
Requirements for the UKG Configuration Specialist:
- Deep hands-on experience configuring and optimizing UKG Pro Workforce Management (Dimensions) environments
- Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes and how they drive WFM system configuration
- Proven ability to assess a production environment, diagnose configuration issues, and lead structured configuration improvements
- Experience designing and executing end-to-end test scenarios in lower environments prior to business validation
- Ability to translate cross-functional business requirements into system solutions and communicate effectively with technical and business audiences
