IDR is seeking a Endpoint Management Engineer – SCCM/Intune to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity . In this role, you will provide hands-on operational support for enterprise endpoint management services, partnering closely with a customer’s technical teams to maintain continuity across device lifecycle and deployment needs. This position supports a large organization in a highly regulated industry, helping ensure secure, reliable Windows device management at scale.

Position Overview for the Endpoint Management Engineer – SCCM/Intune:

  • Provide day-to-day administration and operational support for Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune environments.
  • Build, configure, and maintain Operating System Deployment (OSD) task sequences and support ongoing lifecycle updates.
  • Support hybrid and cloud endpoint management workflows, including Co-Management and Cloud Management Gateway (CMG).
  • Troubleshoot endpoint, application deployment, policy, and provisioning issues; ensure consistent device enrollment and lifecycle management.
  • Document configurations, processes, and technical decisions while collaborating with customer technical teams to sustain endpoint services.

Requirements for the Endpoint Management Engineer – SCCM/Intune:

  • 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and Microsoft Intune in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting SCCM infrastructure and supporting application deployments, OSD, and endpoint lifecycle activities.
  • Experience with SCCM Cloud Management Gateway (CMG) and Co-Management in hybrid endpoint management scenarios.
  • Strong knowledge of Intune device management concepts including policies, profiles, enrollment, and Windows Autopilot provisioning (Hybrid or Entra joined).
  • Familiarity with identity and directory services including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, group targeting, and hybrid identity patterns; able to work independently with clear communication and documentation discipline.
