IDR is seeking a PTC Windchill Developer – Java to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. In this role, you will focus on hands-on development and customization within PTC Windchill, with an emphasis on frontend enhancements, application modernization, and addressing technical debt. This position supports a large, enterprise environment within an established industry organization.

Position Overview for the PTC Windchill Developer – Java:

Develop and customize PTC Windchill applications with a focus on delivering new functionality and enhancements.
Build and maintain frontend components using Java, JSP, and XML configuration within Windchill.
Contribute to technical debt reduction and modernization efforts to improve platform performance and usability.
Support development and deployment processes leveraging tools like Jenkins, Linux, and AWS-based environments.
Apply test-driven development practices and assist with occasional low-priority defect fixes as needed.

Requirements for the PTC Windchill Developer – Java:

5+ years of relevant development experience with hands-on PTC Windchill development and customization
Strong Java development skills, including Windchill-specific customization work
Experience building Windchill frontend functionality using JSP and XML
Working knowledge of Jenkins and development workflows in Linux environments
Experience with cloud environments such as AWS and familiarity with test-driven development practices
