IDR is seeking a Email Lead to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Houston, TX. This role supports a large, multi-brand marketing organization leveraging modern email marketing platforms to deliver high-quality campaigns at scale. You will lead hands-on email development and execution across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Marketo, partnering with stakeholders to ensure campaigns are built, tested, deployed, and optimized to align with broader marketing strategy.

Position Overview for the Email Lead:

  • Develop responsive, production-ready email templates from design files and ensure compatibility across major inboxes and devices.
  • Build, test, QA, and deploy email campaigns in both Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Marketo, including automations and triggered journeys.
  • Implement personalization and dynamic content using platform scripting and tokens to support lifecycle and segmentation strategies.
  • Monitor deliverability and performance metrics (opens, clicks, and related KPIs) and recommend optimizations based on insights.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable email and privacy regulations while maintaining industry best practices.

Requirements for the Email Lead:

  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS for responsive email development and troubleshooting rendering issues across clients (including dark mode considerations).
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (e.g., Email Studio, Journey Builder, AMPscript) and Marketo (e.g., Smart Campaigns, Tokens, lead scoring), with strong depth in at least one platform.
  • Experience building and executing campaigns end-to-end, including QA, stakeholder approvals, scheduling, and deployment.
  • Familiarity with email testing tools (e.g., Litmus or Email on Acid) and best practices for cross-client validation.
  • Solid understanding of segmentation, lead nurturing/lifecycle marketing, deliverability monitoring, and CRM integrations (e.g., syncing with Salesforce CRM).
