IDR is seeking a Support Technician to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in City, State . In this role, you will provide hands-on IT support in a fast-paced, enterprise environment, partnering closely with end users and executive stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a highly visible support organization within a leading technology-focused enterprise.
Position Overview for the Support Technician:
- Provide end-user and executive “white-glove” support for desktop and laptop systems in an on-site environment.
- Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on PCs, peripherals, and related hardware systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues, identifying network-related problems when tied to end-user devices.
- Support Microsoft productivity tools (including Office 365 and MS Teams) and video teleconferencing solutions (such as Cisco Webex).
- Create/support processes, deliver user training, contribute to project efforts, and serve as a local leader/mentor to junior technicians.
Requirements for the Support Technician:
- 4+ years providing “white-glove” executive-level support
- 5+ years providing end-user support
- 5+ years supporting PC hardware and performing routine software installations
- 5+ years troubleshooting IT hardware and peripherals in an enterprise environment
- 4+ years supporting Microsoft productivity tools (Office 365, MS Teams) and video teleconferencing solutions (Cisco Webex)
