IDR is seeking a Production Operation Coordinator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in New York, NY. This role is situated within a dynamic supply chain and manufacturing environment focused on streamlining production processes and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting load planning, shipment management, and process improvements to enhance overall production efficiency.
Position Overview for the Production Operation Coordinator:
- Assist in minimizing delays in PO creation, R2 setup, and inbound shipment emails.
- Support advanced load planning and shipment strategy development.
- Contribute to process analysis, standardization, and reporting for production and logistics.
- Collaborate closely with vendors, factories, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Drive process improvements and facilitate logistical load planning for increased visibility and cost savings.
Requirements for the Production Operation Coordinator:
- Experience with status and shipment tracking across Excel and Monday.
- Proficiency in creating and revising purchase orders.
- Familiarity with Goods Receipt, R2 Setup, and CI creation.
- Ability to book QIMA inspections and manage inbound shipment emails.
- ERP system experience (Navision/Microsoft Dynamics preferred; comparable experience acceptable).
