IDR is seeking a Finance Program Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Rancho Mirage, CA. This role involves supporting financial operations within healthcare or similar sectors, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial transactions, and optimizing program financial management.
Position Overview for the Finance Program Specialist:
- Manage and support financial operations within the healthcare or related industry setting
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the program
- Review and correct financial transactions initiated by operational staff prior to posting to the General Ledger
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
- Provide analytics and reporting to support financial decision-making
Requirements for the Finance Program Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- Three (3) years of accounting experience
- Expert-level Excel knowledge
- Experience establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the program
- Background in reviewing and correcting financial transactions initiated by Operations staff prior to posting to the General Ledger
