IDR is seeking a Patient Account Representative II to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Colorado. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in medical billing and patient accounts within a healthcare setting. The organization operates within the healthcare industry, focusing on providing excellent patient financial services and support.
Position Overview for the Patient Account Representative II:
- Manage and resolve patient billing and account inquiries efficiently
- Research and appeal outstanding medical claims to ensure accurate processing
- Maintain detailed knowledge of insurance, billing regulations, and coding protocols
- Utilize Epic and MS Office products to manage patient accounts and documentation
- Collaborate with team members and healthcare providers to address billing issues
Requirements for the Patient Account Representative II:
- 1-3 years of professional experience in medical billing or patient accounts
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with medical billing or patient accounts
- General computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office products such as Word and Excel
- Advanced knowledge of Epic, medical billing, insurance, compliance regulations, and coding
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
