Position Overview/Responsibilities for the
.NET Developer
Applications team is seeking a contract Application Developer to support the modernization of a mature VB.NET application into a modern C#/.NET solution. This role requires a developer who can work confidently across both ends of the technology spectrum, comfortable reverse-engineering legacy code to understand why it was built the way it was, and equally capable of architecting its modern replacement using current .NET best practices. 

Required Skills for the .NET Developer
  • 4+ years of experience developing, deploying, and supporting .NET applications using C#, VB.NET, HTML5, jQuery
  • 3+ years of experience with SSRS and SSIS development and support
  • 3+ years of experience building and integrating APIs and system interfaces (Raptor API or similar)
  • Experience using RabbitMQ for messaging/integration
  • Prior experience working with Government and/or Public Safety (Huge plus)
