IDR is seeking a Workstation Technician. The role is based onsite in Lacrosse, WI, supporting a one-year contract for a client. In this position, you will provide technical support related to computer hardware and software, assist with customer service inquiries, and utilize ticket tracking software for documentation. The role combines hands-on technical work with customer interactions and collaboration with team members.
Position Overview for the Workstation Technician:
- Provide technical support for computer hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Use ticket tracking software to document operations and customer requests.
- Support high-priority projects and adapt workload based on requirements.
- Evaluate customer requests to determine appropriate IT solutions, including hardware or software recommendations.
- Assist with activities requiring physical effort, including lifting up to seventy-five pounds and working in various physical positions.
Requirements for the Workstation Technician:
- Two (2) years of customer service experience supporting computers.
- Good organizational skills, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of computer-related terminology such as CPU, Internet, Networking, Client/Server, LAN/WAN.
- Ability to tolerate physical activities including bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and working with arms above shoulder level.
- Must be able to lift seventy-five pounds or more.

Compensation Range: $24/hour
