IDR is seeking a Business System Analyst (JD Edwards) to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Thornton, CO. This role offers a chance to work with a growing organization in the construction and distribution industry, focusing on business process analysis and JD Edwards E1 system support to drive organizational success.
Position Overview for the Business System Analyst (JD Edwards):
- Provide expert analysis and support for JD Edwards E1 system functionalities, including finance, job costing, and distribution applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system processes and data integrity.
- Assist in system configuration, upgrade projects, and resolving system-related issues.
- Support system development life cycle and promotional activities within JDE ERP.
- Contribute to process improvements that support the company's growth and operational efficiency.
Requirements for the Business System Analyst (JD Edwards):
- Extensive understanding of JD Edwards E1 system, applications, and data structures.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with job cost, profit recognition, and finance applications.
- Required experience with Job Cost, Profit Recognition, Service Billing, Contract Billing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Procurement, and Subcontracts.
- Strong technical understanding of E1 tables, data structures, data dictionary, form extensions, workflows, user-defined objects, etc.
- Ability to set up/configure projects, cost structures, AAIs, and tax setup.
