IDR is seeking a CAPPS Financials GL Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. This role involves providing senior-level consulting and support for the CAPPS Program, focusing on General Ledger, Commitment Control, Budgeting, and Cash Receipts modules within a large-scale statewide ERP system. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated team supporting Texas state government financial systems.
Position Overview for the CAPPS Financials GL Analyst:
- Perform advanced consulting services related to the support of the CAPPS Program.
- Provide subject matter expertise in the General Ledger, Commitment Control, Budgeting, and Cash Receipts modules.
- Lead configuration, testing, issue resolution, and business process improvements within these modules.
- Support integrations, compliance, and policy alignment, including training and reporting.
- Manage release cycles and perform change management activities to ensure system efficiency and compliance.
Requirements for the CAPPS Financials GL Analyst:
- Extensive knowledge and experience performing system configuration changes.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of State of Texas applicable policies.
- Extensive technical skillsets needed with App Designer, Integration Broker, assorted SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, SAP Business Objects, etc.
- Extensive knowledge supporting and providing oversight with batch jobs, i.e., Run My Jobs (RMJ).
- Extensive knowledge of security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy applicability for a statewide ERP instance.
