IDR is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle to join one of our top clients for a hybrid opportunity in Tennessee. This role offers the chance to lead and optimize revenue cycle operations within a dynamic healthcare organization focused on value-based care. The director will collaborate across departments to enhance financial outcomes and patient experiences.
Position Overview for the Director of Revenue Cycle:
- Oversee revenue cycle operations, including insurance verification, charge capture, billing, payments, collections, and denial management.
- Develop and implement scalable operating procedures, policies, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Ensure all revenue cycle processes adhere to federal/state regulations, payer requirements, and coding standards (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
- Define, monitor, and analyze key revenue cycle KPIs to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team across the revenue cycle function, including training and performance management.
Requirements for the Director of Revenue Cycle:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- 7+ years of experience in claims operations management and revenue cycle.
- Demonstrated experience managing and scaling a revenue cycle team in a complex healthcare environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills both in person and over the phone.
- Working knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding along with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party billing guidelines.
